We are the Champions, My Friends

Yep... its true. The Nasties FC of Seattle are champions again!! 

Last Monday, we played our last regular season Spring soccer game... and won 6-1! It was an awesome game to end the season on. Everyone did SO well! I love it.

Our team was expecting to play in a championship game to earn the title... but it seems that Co-Rec has decided to cancel all championship games going forward due to increased field costs. Unfortunate really. I was looking forward to beating Starblazers United one last time this season. But thankfully we have the best record (8-2) in our division and have already been informed by Co-Rec that we are in fact champions. Wish we could have played an actual game though. Still, I won't complain :) This coming Monday, Summer season starts... and we are being bumped up a division... AGAIN! We will now be playing in Division 4... out of 10 Divisions. How exciting is that!?!

Wednesday Changes

Tonight is the first Wednesday that I will not be going to youth group. It has ended. My 6 year journey is over. How strange is that? Its a closing of one chapter and an opening of another... we'll see how it goes.

July...

Is a month full of hiking, camping, climbing and fun. And I am excited! All I have to do is get through June... here we go.
