Life has a mysterious way of taking us along on its twists and turns to eventually place us exactly where we're supposed to be. And every so often one of those twists lands back in our minds and we remember... we consider... what would life be like if that next turn never came? What would life be like if a choice or a decision was never made? What road would we be on now if only...
Thinking of the past is oftentimes a dangerous thing if we get stuck there... but remembering and being thankful for where we've come from - and being encouraged by where we are going - has the power to lift the soul. It gives wings to dreams... discipline to keep promises... desire to keeping stepping... to keep picking up one foot after another in the right direction.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6
